A note on chutneys and malt vinegar
The honest version of “gluten-free”.
Most chutneys here are made with wine or cider vinegar, which are naturally gluten-free. A few use malt vinegar, which is brewed from barley and contains a very small amount of residual gluten. The Coeliac Society's published guidance is that this trace level is acceptable for the great majority of people with coeliac disease, though anyone with a confirmed diagnosis or a severe reaction should check the label before eating.
All preserves are free from artificial preservatives, colourings and additives.
Important
If you have a confirmed coeliac diagnosis or a severe allergy, please check the ingredients printed on the jar before consuming. The information here describes our recipes in general; individual batches may vary.
