General Conditions

All orders accepted by Tregunter are subject to these terms and conditions of sale, which supersede any previous terms and conditions. All descriptions and illustrations contained in this website are only intended to give a general idea of the products, specifications may vary slightly.

Some of the Tregunter preserves are seasonal, therefore once the stock from that season has been purchased, they will become unavilable until the next season the preserves can be produced. Where this is the case, there will be an indication on the website that stock is running low and it is a seasonal item.
 

Deliveries

Orders will usually be dispatched within 2-8 days of receipt, however please allow up to 14 days for delivery. If you require express delivery please request via email and we will endeavour to ensure this takes place. Deliveries are made by either courier or  Royal Mail.

Carriage prices cover all mainland UK addresses. However deliveries to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Ireland, the Channel Islands, Isles of Scilly, Isle of Wight and the Isle of Man can be arranged for an additional charge. Please contact Tregunter for details prior to placing your order.

All address information must be accurate, including the postcode and recipients phone number. Tregunter  cannot accept responsibility for late or non-delivery if the quoted address is incorrect. Parcels may need a signature on delivery, our couriers only deliver during working hours so if you cannot be available to accept a parcel, please provide an alternative delivery address.

Tregunter normally has all the items listed on the website in stock. Occasionally, due to demand, we may have to make more of a certain preserve to complete the order. This is also usually the case for curds, as they are generally made to order to ensure freshness. We will contact you and inform you of the estimated dispatch time or offer you a replacement or cancellation of the order if preferred.

Price

All prices on the Tregunter website are in Pounds Sterling. The price per item you will be charged will be the price advertised on their website at the time you place your order. Tregunter reserve the right to modify the price of any item, or any of the contents contained in the gifts packs, at any time without prior notice.

In the unlikely event that an incorrect price is shown on their website, Tregunter reserves the right to abstain from fulfilling any order at that price. The customer will be notified by telephone or e-mail informing them of the correct price, and given the choice either to proceed with the order or to cancel that item.

Tregunter reserves the right to substitute any items included in the set gift packs with items of similar or greater value, if for any reason those listed on the web site are unavailable and will not be produced again for some time.

Returns & Claims:

All items sold are carefully checked before dispatch. Tregunter must be notified within 24 hours of receipt of goods of any faults or discrepancies, goods must be retained by the recipient for inspection. Tregunter operates a no return policy. There is a no refund policy on failure to deliver goods if this was due to incorrect information being submitted by the purchaser with the original order.

Claims will only be settled after faulty goods have been returned or proof of damage has been supplied to Tregunter. Any goods returned incomplete i.e. packaging missing, etc. will not be replaced or credited. Similarly, any goods found to have been used will not be replaced or credited.

At Tregunter we aim to ensure all our customers are completely satisfied with their purchase. Any discrepancies can be e-mailed and any complaints will be dealt with in confidence, normally by return.

Online Payments:

Tregunter takes payments online by clicking on the ‘Add to Basket’ button by your chosen item. You may view your basket at any time by clicking on the ‘View Basket’ button. When you have finished shopping you will be directed to the ‘Checkout’ where you will be assisted through the payment process. Tregunter accepts payment by credit and debit card through Paypal (you do not need to have a Paypal Account). Paypal and Tregunter take your online payment security seriously and at any time you are able to click on the 'Site secured by SSL' solid yellow padlock in the browser status bar, which indicates that encryption is taking place. 

Before orders are dispatched, all payments will be processed. Please ensure that the details you provide are correct. Tregunter will not accept responsibility for any orders not processed due to invalid or incorrect payment details given.
